In Conques, we met Amélie at "La perle d'art". We were at once fascinated by her creations of glass, stone, metal and clay. Not only is she a talented artist, but also a gentle lady. We were very touched by her warm welcome in her workshop. And we had the joy of creating our own glass pearls with her.

Conques

We discovered the little village of Conques, on the way of St James. As it is a place of renowned beauty, I was dreading a crowded place and the usual damages of souvenir shops. But no, it is a quite and peaceful, place, maybe too remote to be spoiled. A few wanderers, a few talented craftmen and artists, an excellent bookstore. A rare place.
